Brian L. Murland

Brian Murland’s national practice focuses on a wide variety of complex real estate transactions, with an emphasis on commercial finance and leasing. His diverse client base includes financial institutions, real estate investment trusts (REITs), private equity funds, real estate investment managers and other real estate investors.  Brian counsels one of the largest real estate investment management firms in the United States, specializing in the acquisition, development, leasing and management of industrial properties.

His experience includes permanent, bridge and mezzanine lending, preferred equity, industrial, office and retail leasing and the acquisition, financing and disposition of commercial real estate properties.

Brian prioritizes and values creating and maintaining a strong attorney-client relationship.  He is dedicated and responsive to his clients’ goals.  His practical approach to transactions helps clients navigate intricate issues and close deals timely, efficiently and cost effectively.

Prior to starting the firm, Brian was a shareholder at Ledgewood for more than 17 years where he served as head of the transactional real estate team. Prior to that he was a partner at the Philadelphia-based national law firm of Cozen O’Connor, where he specialized in real estate and corporate finance.

While in law school, Brian served as an editor of the Villanova Environmental Law Journal.
