AnneMarie MacPherson focuses her practice on a broad range of commercial real estate and finance matters with an emphasis on industrial leasing and the acquisition, sale and mortgage financing of a wide range of commercial properties, including industrial, office, retail, hospitality and multifamily properties. She also has experience in office and retail leasing, loan assumptions, modifications, workouts and other servicing matters, as well as securitizations and warehouse transactions involving mortgage loans.

AnneMarie has represented institutional owners, lenders and tenants as well as commercial banks, real estate investment trusts (REITs), real estate investment managers, private equity funds, e-commerce companies, loan servicers, private investors and life insurance companies. Notably, AnneMarie assists one of the largest industrial landlords and real estate investment managers in the United States in the drafting and negotiation of complex leases for a variety of industrial, logistics, office and related business park properties.

AnneMarie’s clients appreciate her rigorous attention to detail as well as her commitment to delivering high-quality legal work in a manner that is responsive to client needs and priorities.

Prior to joining the firm, AnneMarie served as in-house corporate counsel for Amazon, supporting the real estate and asset management teams on a variety of real estate legal and business matters involving Amazon’s extensive portfolio of operations and last-mile logistics facilities in North America. Previously, AnneMarie was also an associate at Ledgewood where she focused on transactional real estate matters. She started her legal career at Dechert LLP in the finance and real estate group.

While in law school, she was a member of the editorial board of the Virginia Environmental Law Journal.
